Tragic Hero; Antigone or Creon

In the Ancient greek language tragedy Antigone, the character types Antigone and Creon can easily both end up being thought of as the tragic hero of the enjoy. Though Antigone does display some of these attributes of a tragic hero, Creon demonstrates the attributes even more clearly and concisely. Creon is the Full of Thebes, as well as the dad of Antigone. Antigone was known inside the society because the queen; but , the lady did not present herself as a grand and known person. Creon takes pride in his position in culture and is prideful of his city wonderful decisions. Creon said proudly, " You forget yourself! You will be speaking to your King! ” (Sophocles five. 66) Creon exhibits the trait of superiority almost to the point from this quotation. Antigone, nevertheless , is only recognized for being the princess with the former king and doing an action of municipal disobedience against King Creon. Creon and Antigone can also be comparable in the area of nobility. Creon was the sibling of Oedipus, the former king of Thebes.
