My personal player was Bill Tilden he was a hall of fame expert Golfer. Bill Tatem Tilden II his nickname was " Big Bill, ” Bill Tilden was a north american tennis participant he is often considered one of the best tennis players of all time.
Tilden was the World No . 1 player pertaining to seven years, he won 15 Dominant: ten Grand Slams, the 1921 World Hard Courtroom Championships and four Pro Slams. This individual dominated the field of international tennis in the 1st half of the twenties, and during his 18-year amateur period of 1912–30, he earned 138 of 192 tournaments, and had a match record of 907–62, a winning percentage of 93. 6 percent. Tilden was born into a wealthy Philadelphia family bereaved by the death of three older siblings. He lost his semi-invalid mom when he was 18 and, even though his father was still alive and maintained a big house well staffed with maids, was sent a few houses away to live with a maiden aunt. Tilden attended University of Pennsylvania and graduated from Peirce School. In the Usa States' sports-mad decade of the Roaring Twenties, Tilden was one of the 6 dominant figures of the " Golden Age of Sport", along with Babe Ruth, Howie Morenz, Red Batiment, Bobby Roberts, and Jack Dempsey.
